MCLogs ChatGPT Plugin Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MC Logistics SRL ("MC Logistics," "MCLogs," "we," or "us") processes information when you use the MCLogs plugin in ChatGPT. The plugin provides public, read-only maritime shipment tracking by container number or Bill of Lading. It does not require an MCLogs account and does not create, edit, pay, or delete records.
1. Information we process

2. Sources of information
We receive tracking identifiers and tool requests from ChatGPT at your direction. Shipment details come from MCLogs systems associated with the identifier. The plugin does not request or receive an MCLogs username, password, access token, payment information, or invoice data.
3. Who receives information
We disclose information only as needed to operate the plugin:
- MC Logistics SRL and authorized personnel, to provide shipment tracking, security, and support.
- MCLogs service infrastructure and service providers, acting for us to host the plugin, secure requests, and operate shipment-tracking systems.
- OpenAI/ChatGPT, which receives the tracking result needed to answer you and display the plugin interface.
- Authorities or other parties when legally required, or when necessary to protect users, MC Logistics, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
We do not sell plugin data, use it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Data minimization and security
The tracking tool asks only for the container number or Bill of Lading needed to perform the lookup. It returns only shipment information relevant to that request. The plugin does not request names, contact information, account credentials, payment-card details, health information, government identifiers, MFA codes, or API keys.
5. Your choices and controls
- You can choose not to submit a tracking identifier.
- You can remove the plugin from ChatGPT settings at any time.
- You can delete the relevant ChatGPT conversation or manage ChatGPT privacy settings through OpenAI. OpenAI's handling of conversations is governed by OpenAI's own privacy policy.
- You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information controlled by MC Logistics, or ask a privacy question, by emailing info@mclogs.com. Some shipment records must be retained for contractual, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
6. International processing
Depending on where you use ChatGPT and where our service providers operate, information may be processed outside your country. We apply contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.
7. Children
The plugin is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the plugin.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the plugin's tools or data practices change. We will post the updated date on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy before the changed data practice is used.
